What is the difference between Spring and Deep cleaning?

Today we would love to share with you some additional information regarding Spring and Deep cleaning.

Lately we have been receiving requests about deep and spring cleaning services. It came to our attention, that there is a lot of confusion what is the actual difference, not just in the services included but also price wise. We previously wrote a similar article where we only explained the difference between general & deep cleaning.

That's why, this time around, we decided to write this short blog to give you a better idea of these two thorough, although slightly different individual cleaning services we offer.

DEEP CLEANING

Deep cleaning is different from regular or spring cleaning because it reaches the deep grime and dirt in your home.

We would recommend having a deep clean organized at least 2-3 times per year.

It covers areas which aren’t traditionally covered by a regular or spring clean for example:

  • behind kitchen appliances like the washing machine and oven, cutting through the grime that builds up

  • under the sink

  • inside the oven including the oven door glass

  • inside of window frames and patio doors

  • inside of all windows

  • washing all blinds

  • full and deep dusting including all the corners of rooms for cobwebs

  • scale removal from all bathroom tiles, kitchen tiles, taps, shower heads etc

In addition to our recommended twice or thrice yearly deep cleaning, you should be completing regular/maintenance cleaning on a weekly or biweekly basis. If you’re finding it hard to complete these tasks on a regular basis, you should think about hiring a regular professional cleaning services near you, who can help you with these tasks. You can get a quote for a regular cleaning through our website by simply filling our contact form and we will gladly provide you with a quote based on your individual needs for your home.

Spring Cleaning

Spring cleaning is an annual deep cleaning which typically takes place in the spring.

Like spring itself, spring cleaning renews a house.

Our standard spring cleaning includes the following tasks:

  • Cleaning of all surfaces

  • Disinfection of high traffic and high touch surfaces

  • Microwave cleaning

  • Bathroom descaling

  • Vacuuming all floors and upholstery

  • Mopping all hard flooring

  • Inside window cleaning

  • Sweep the porch

In addition to the standard tasks, you’re also able to add the following extra services onto your spring clean:

  • Deep oven clean

  • Fridge/freezer cleaning

  • Carpet cleaning

  • Inside cupboards

As you can see from the lists provided, deep cleaning offers more detailed cleaning including big appliances as well as under and behind them, therefore price for deep cleaning is usually higher and also more time consuming than any other cleaning service we offer.

As with all of our professional cleaning services in Toronto and near you, you can let us know of any special requirements that you may have, or areas that you’d like us to focus on, so we can focus mainly on your highest priorities. We’ll pass this information onto our cleaning team members in advance to your scheduled cleaning to make sure, all your home cleaning needs are met and satisfied every time @6scleanness arrives.

Please note that you can always customize your regular cleaning services with us, as we know we all have different needs, standards and expectations when it comes to cleanliness of our homes. For example you can add fridge cleaning on your cleaning list and you will only be charged extra for that specific deep fridge cleaning and that's also the smart way how to save some money and keep your appliances clean.

We hope that our blog did help you to identify what is the difference between these two types of cleanings, so that you will always know which cleaning suits you the most at any given time of the year.

We wish you all the best, stay healthy, positive and happy!

Hope to see you soon :)
